MOCHI is the southeastern Michigan and northern Ohio local chapter of ACM SIGCHI, the Association of Computing Machinerys Special Interest Group for Computer-Human Interaction. MOCHI members consist of students, faculty, and computer-human interaction professionals from the University of Michigan, other regional universities, and local industry.
MOCHI offers formal and informal opportunities to network with students, professors, and local industry who share an interested in the design and effectiveness of computer-human interaction for both research and commercial application.
Meetings are held 7:00-9:00pm on the second Wednesday of every month in the University of Michigan School of Information, Ehrlicher Room, room 411 of West Hall. The usual meeting format begins with an open discussion of chapter business followed by the presentation of an invited speaker.
